Transport through selected sections

Our 3D hydrodynamic model computes the water volume transported through different cross-sections of the North Sea. This was started in the framework of the NOOS international data exchange programme.

The transport is averaged over 2 tidal cycles (approximately 25 hours). For convenience, it is expressed in Sverdrups (1 Sv = one million cubic metres per second).
